Composition breakdown of a toon character

This is a shows the composition layers used to create a hand drawn character with Maya.

The rendering was done with mental ray using its toon shader with some outlines.

Each render layer was also processed with Photoshop.

The character was created with Autodesk character generator.

This was an early test for the Gaggenau future vision film.
